Director and Principal Lawyer
Dinesh Loganathan is a solicitor advocate and the founder of Logan & Partners, a boutique law firm built on innovation, accessibility, and excellence.
Originally from Singapore, Dinesh moved to Tasmania in 2012 to pursue a Bachelor of Law and Business at the University of Tasmania. During his university years, he was actively involved in the Tasmania University Law Society and the Australian Law Students Association, where he passionately advocated for student rights and representation. As a migrant himself, Dinesh understands the challenges faced by newcomers to Australia and remains deeply committed to supporting and amplifying the voices of migrants.
Dinesh was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2017 and to the High Court of Australia in 2019. He began his legal career at a boutique Tasmanian law firm, where he played a pivotal role in the firm’s growth and expansion.
In 2021, Dinesh founded Logan & Partners, a specialised firm offering legal services, business advisory, and consultancy. In 2023, he expanded the firm’s footprint to Victoria, bringing his team’s expertise to a broader client base.
Renowned for his forceful advocacy, critical legal analysis, and strategic creativity, Dinesh is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for his clients. His witty and innovative arguments have earned him a reputation as a dynamic and results-driven advocate. Having appeared before various courts and tribunals in Tasmania and Victoria, he brings extensive practical insight to resolving complex legal matters.
Beyond legal practice, Dinesh actively contributes to law reform initiatives, advises political organisations, and consults for businesses. He has addressed the Tasmanian Legislative Council multiple times, voicing concerns on key government bills and policy issues.
Continuing to expand his professional capabilities, Dinesh is currently training to obtain a Real Estate and Financial Services Licence, further broadening the scope of services available through his firm.
